A #GivingTuesday message from Amelia Air Animal Rescue Co-Founder Dean Heistad: 2020 sure has been a difficult year, but with the holiday season upon us, I want to encourage everyone to hold on to the spirit of gratitude and goodwill. This year, in particular, I am especially proud to be a part of Amelia Air. What a bright spot it’s been, getting to save shelter pets by flying them off death row to loving new homes or on to other no-kill rescue orgs.

Shelters get so crowded especially in the wake of natural disasters and covid-related economic strife and so we remain committed to saving pets trapped in at-capacity kill-shelters. This fall, the funds we’ve raised have been crucial to our ongoing efforts as we head into 2021. On this #GivingTuesday, we want to give thanks to our amazing supporters and donors.
