3 generations of rescuers
When we landed, Lynn (grandmother) said she was interested in possibly taking a bus back home because it was much too bumpy for her liking. And what happened next is absolutely typical in the world of dog rescues – she met the dogs we were to transport back from Charleston WV, fell in love and said she’d absolutely help us fly back with them!
Another 5.5 hour drive for the dogs was converted to a brief 1.3 hour flight with 3 doting ladies taking care of them in the plane to comfort them. As you can see below, this little rascal was interested in this very odd leash contraption (novel for a rescue dog).
Overall, 4 more dogs saved from the jaws of euthanasia and the best way to spend family time together!
