The Rescue of Marine Dog Diesel!

We want to thank everyone who reached out last week across all of our social media platforms, answering the call to foster a deployed Marine’s dog!

When Diesel’s dad Pat was deployed to the Southeast Pacific, he left Diesel in the care of his roommate, a fellow Marine. But soon thereafter, the roommate was also deployed - and on extremely short notice! Diesel quickly ran out of options and was unfortunately bound for a shelter.

Thankfully, our rescue pilot Petra’s flight instructor looped her into the situation - and Amelia Air was able to intervene not only with a rescue flight, but also by finding a last minute foster placement. Thanks to the Miller family, Diesel will spend the holiday season in a loving foster home until his dad Pat gets home from serving his country.
