National Rescue Dog Day Flight!

May 20th was National Rescue Dog Day and just one day prior, our amazing volunteer pilot Malvina completed an East Coast relay rescue with 11 pups & mamas!

Malvina and co-pilot Colby persisted through significant weather-related delays to bring this relay flight home. One baby was so young he even had to be bottle fed in midair, but our volunteer pilots are always up to the task, whatever it takes!

We are so grateful for all the people, pilots, foster families, and supporters who came together to get these dogs to safety, and extra thankful for all the amazing people out there who adopt rescue pets!!
